Your second windstarts here.
Minutes from Emerald Bay — Second Wind is the recovery studio built for people who play hard and expect to feel good doing it. Therapeutic massage for golfers, tennis players, and anyone who gives their body everything they've got.
What the course and court leave behind.
The golf swing is one of the most rotationally demanding movements in sport. Tennis adds lateral load, overhead reach, and repetitive impact. We work directly on what those activities accumulate — before it becomes the injury that takes you off the course.
Post-Round Lower Back
Eighteen holes load the lumbar spine with repeated rotation. Deep tissue work releases the tightness before it becomes the injury that pulls you off the course.
Shoulder & Rotator Cuff
The follow-through demands everything from your lead shoulder. Targeted work keeps the rotator cuff healthy, mobile, and ready for the next round.
Forearm & Grip Fatigue
70–100 swings — or an hour on the court — accumulate in the forearms. We release the flexors and extensors that affect both feel and consistency.
Tennis Elbow
Repetitive racquet impact inflames the forearm extensors. Deep tissue and trigger point work directly on the affected tissue reduces symptoms other approaches miss.
Hip Mobility & IT Band
Power comes from the hips. When they restrict, the back compensates. We restore hip mobility and address the lateral leg that takes the load across 18 holes.
Mental Reset
Golf and tennis are mental games. A 90-minute session resets the nervous system — leaving you with the settled clarity that doesn't come from the 19th hole.
Rest doesn't fix what recovery can.
A night's sleep helps. But passive rest doesn't address the shortened muscles, accumulated trigger points, and restricted range of motion that builds over a season of play.
That's why many members find themselves progressively stiffer and more prone to injury — not because they're playing too much, but because recovery isn't keeping pace with the demand.
- Flushes metabolic waste from fatigued muscle tissue
- Restores length to shortened muscles before they entrench
- Addresses trigger points before they refer pain elsewhere
- Keeps range of motion open so mechanics stay consistent
- Resets the nervous system — genuine recovery, not just rest
"Not just the ability to play again tomorrow — but the restoration of the ease and energy that makes playing worth it."
